　　【PConline 资讯】6月3日消息，为了对抗谷歌Chrome OS，微软将推出廉价甚至免费版Windows操作系统。早在今年3月就有消息称Windows 8.1 With Bing就是微软试水免费操作系统的产物。目前，微软官方对Windows 8.1 With Bing进行了介绍。此外，国外媒体也曝光了Windows 8.1 With Bing上手视频。

　　相比其他版本Windows操作系统，Windows 8.1 With Bing有两个最大的特点。其一是价格便宜。微软将其廉价提供给OEM厂商，即我们是无法在平常货架上买到Windows 8.1 With Bing的。其二则是Windows 8.1 With Bing中IE浏览器的默认搜索引擎是Bing，不过若用户不习惯，可自行修改；除此之外，Windows 8.1 With Bing在功能上与Windows 8.1/8.1 Update并无太大差异。

　　事实上，一般情况下，以Dell和HP为例，它们是可以将搜索引擎更改为Google或其它合作者而据外媒消息，但由于Windows 8.1 With Bing是微软廉价提供给OEM厂商的，因此，OEM厂商是无法修改Windows 8.1 With Bing中IE的默认搜索引擎。不过，消费者可在刚刚拿到机器运行Windows系统时对IE默认搜索引擎做出更改。
